Compare InVision DSM and Framer AI side-by-side: pricing, key highlights, and which tool to choose for your workflow.
InVision DSM (Design System Manager) was InVision's dedicated design system platform — a centralised hub for storing components, tokens, guidelines, and documentation that design and development teams could reference from a single URL. It launched in 2018 and saw meaningful enterprise adoption before InVision began winding down its products. InVision shut down its core Cloud platform in December 2024, and DSM was absorbed into InVision Freehand before the final sunset. Teams that built their design system workflow around DSM have largely migrated to Figma's built-in design system features, Supernova, or ZeroHeight for documentation. If you encounter DSM references in legacy documentation, be aware the product is no longer available as a standalone offering.
